Version 1.0.0

In the Login tab, you can adjust the setting for authentication of a user in the web interface. It also provides the option for users to log in at the web interface with their ACMP account or to provide authentication for an Active Directory.

7.7.5 - Anmeldung

Authenticate with the ACMP account

To ensure that users can log in with an account on the ACMP web interface, select the option ACMP user name or contact email address and password. To log in at the web interface, users require an ACMP account (see User Administration) or have to be registered as a contact for the Helpdesk (see Manage Contacts). In both cases, the contact name as well as the email address must be specified.

Authenticate with an Active Directory account

To enable users to authenticate themselves for an Active Directory when logging in at the web interface, select the option Active Directory user name and password. Users registered in the Active Directory require a registered email address as well for proper authentication. For licensing reasons, the data of the users from the Active Directory, who want to the web interface or the Helpdesk must also be entered as contacts in the ACMP Helpdesk (see Manage Contacts). The data of users in Active Directory should be consistent with those of the contacts in the ACMP Helpdesk.

With the Allow auto login option Allow the option, you allow users of the web interface to save their data locally on their computers, so they do not have to constantly re-enter these data.- Here, a user can decide whether only his name, his password, both data sets or nothing at all is saved.

Hinweis

Note:

If you experience problems with logging on to the web interface, it is possible that users need the right to be allowed to log on to the computer on which the IIS server is using the web Interface data.
