Add user Add_16x16

Click on the matching icon in the quick access toolbar. In the dialog box, enter a user name, a description, and an email address. Furthermore, specify a password for using the ACMP Console. It is also possible to directly create a password for using the web interface. In a second step, enter the group affiliation. Here you can also specify multiple groups, which should be avoided due to the possibility of different rights being accorded to the groups, and hence in the interest of security.

Step 1: User properties

 

The third step serves to define the rights of the user. The left dialog box, you can specify the solutions and features which are to be visible for the user. If you select one of these functions, you can specify the rights of the user in this regard in the right dialog box.

In the fourth step, it is possible to assign the role of a Helpdesk employee, provided that the Helpdesk Center solution is installed. Thus, this user can create, edit and also delete support requests (tickets), (see Helpdesk Center). If the user is assigned to a group, which has this role, the role is automatically passed on to the user.

 

In the fifth and final step you can assign a contact from the Helpdesk to the user, provided that such contact has been created before. Otherwise, a new user must be created in addition to the user. This step can only be used if the Helpdesk Center solution has been installed.

 

Click on Done to create the user.

Select a user and click the Edit user icon in the quick access toolbar. This opens the same dialog as for creating a user. All properties are already registered and can be changed as desired.

 

If you merely want to rename a user, you can also do so by right-clicking on the quick access toolbar.

 

Delete user Delete16x16

Select a user and click the Delete user icon in the quick access toolbar. Respond to the confirmation prompt with Yes to delete the user.

 

Change password

To change the password of a user, select the user and click on the Change password icon. Enter the new password and confirm it.
