After clicking on the Edit form button in the previous dialog, the form editor, which allows you to edit an existing dialog, opens. Otherwise, the default dialog is opened for editing.

 

Structure of the user interface of the form editor

 

The form editor can be divided into five main spaces:

 1. Menu bar

 2. Quick access toolbar

 3. Toolbox

 4. Object properties (Object Inspector)

 6. The workspace (with the tabs Form and Source code)

 

These areas will be discussed in more detail in the following subsections.
