Version 1.0.0

In the properties of a client command, you can define general information about how to put certain options and conditions for the Client Command. General information relate to the entire client command, whereas the version and Information General conditions affecting only a particular version of the Client Command.

General

Under General, you can specify the name of the Client Command, and view the Client Command ID. In addition, the creation date and the date of the last modification.

Options

Under Options you can use the Client Command to release for interactive use, which allows the user of a client, this client command independently on the CommandLauncher perform. If you display the Client Command as Quick Command, you can run it via the context menu of a query, the query management (see Run Client Commands). Additionally, you can let the client show command directly in query results. Highlight only the corresponding item in Show in ribbon tab "Query Actions" in the options.

From ACMP 4.0, Client Commands can be run in parallel. In this way prevents long-running client commands block the execution of short client commands. This means that in principle, should not all client commands run in parallel. Appropriate Client Commands must be explicitly marked as parallel run in the options.

However, it must be noted some factors in the parallel execution of client commands. First, it must be ensured that client commands that access the same resources (eg, files, processes) are not marked as executable in parallel. Therefore,   specifically, the parallel execution of MSI installations be avoided.

Client Commands are executed in parallel, regardless of whether they have been started manually or automatically via a client task. Also parallel client commands are executed if already not parallel enabled client command is executed. To prevent two client commands access the same resource, so none of the two must be marked as parallel capable.

Hinweis

Note:

ACMP does not limit the number of concurrent client commands, nor is a review of the client commands made. It must therefore be ensured that is not accessed simultaneously to the same resources.

5.8.3.1.1.1 - Bedingungen

The level is to ensure that a client Command, among other things appears in the Command Launcher as if it had not been performed yet. Likewise Client Commands are executed again, which were assigned to the "Run Once" a container with the option (see Client Commands).

Hinweis

Note:

The level is provided for backward compatibility with older versions of ACMP. Please use the versioning to create a new version of client commands.

Conditions

To do this, draw a Condition from the left side by drag & drop on the right side of the OR and the AND condition. This is similar to the filters, which can be set in a query. So you need at least two conditions, so that these settings make sense. You can also interlink the conditions, so create a condition, e.g. in line with the model X OR (Y AND Z). Example, drag a condition on an existing AND condition, these two conditions are set in the context of an OR condition. Conditions may be adjusted for each version of a Client Command.
