Knowledge Base

Version 1.0.0

The Knowledge base is used to store information in a structured manner. This means that the information is readily available, if such a problem occurs. In this way you can create a so-called article from a previously created ticket to record the solution to a problem in case the problem occurs again.

7.3 - KnowledgeBase

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base is divided into four logical sections. The left column (A) lists all existing folders that are to be created as a logical structure and contain the articles of the Knowledge Base. If you now select a folder in the upper right section (B), the included articles with the title and date of creation. If you now select an item from this area, all other information of the article is displayed in the bottom right section (C). Here you will find, in addition to the title, the keywords, the creator of the article and the attachments, also a problem  of course, an issue with an appropriate answer. If attachments are added, you can have these attachments displayed by clicking the icon in the margin. This folder opens a window that lists all attachments. With a right-click, these attachments can be saved or viewed at will.

In the last section (D), you now have the option to browse for words. Enter the search word in the text box and click the adjacent Browse icon . In addition, you can specify the articles you want to browse by checkmarking the adjacent boxes.

The results are displayed in the already identified ares (A, B, C) and can be operated in the same way as the tickets in the normal view. The only difference between the normal view and the search result view is the small box at the top of the left column (A), wich contains the search word.

To return to normal view, click the Clear search icon next to the search input field.
