Network status

Version 1.0.0

With the network status, it is possible to delay or prevent the execution of Client Tasks, rules, Client Commands and updates for certain containers. This is to assign the pending tasks to clients which are used by field workers and therefore only occasionally access via VPN the corporate network.

To do this, first define the relevant networks (see Settings: Networks). Based on these networks, the ACMP calculates if a client belongs to a local (LAN) or external (mobile) network. According to the network status of a container, the tasks (Client Tasks, rules, Client Commands and updates) are then applied:

Status_LAN

LAN

Containers with this network status apply the tasks to all contained clients which are located in the internal network.

Status_Mobile

Mobile

Containers with this network status apply the tasks to all contained clients which are located on the external network (e.g. via VPN).

Status_Always

Always

Containers with this network status apply the rules to all included clients, no matter what network they are on.

Status_None

No

Containers with this network status do not apply the rules to any client.

To change the network status, you can edit the folder and change the status, or you can select the folder and click on the Change network status button in the quick access toolbar. You can then select the appropriate status from the drop-down options.
