Version control

Version 1.0.0

As of ACMP 3.8 Client Commands are subject to version control. This makes it possible to create and edit an new version of a productively used Client Command, while the older version is still being used productively. For information on creating new releases, visit Create a new Client Command version.

 

While a Client Command version is running through the above-mentioned phases, it can undergo status changes. Statuses describe the current state of a version:

 

Created (Phase: Creation)

The Client Command version can be edited in the Client Command editor.

 

Testing (Phase: Testing)

The Client Command version is ready for testing.

 

Ready for synchronization (Phase: Synchronization)

The data of the Client Command version can be synchronized immediately.

 

Synchronize (Phase: Synchronization)

The data of the Client Command version are currently being synchronized.

 

Ready for release (Phase: Release)

The data of the Client Command version have been synchronized. The version can be released.

 

Synchronized/Released (Phase: Release)

The Client Command version has been released. The data are not yet synchronized.

 

Released (Phase: Release)

The Client Command version was released, and can now be used.

 

Release with drawn (Phase: Release)

This version can not be used with a withdrawn release.

 

Moreover, a new Client Command version will be displayed in the CommandLauncher as not yet executed. Likewise, new Client Command versions which have been assigned to a container with the option "Run once" (see Client Commands) will be executed again.
