Query management

Version 1.0.0

warning

Note:

Since ACMP 5.1 we reworked our displayfields. As a consequence you have to update the supplied query Memory details, when you updated from a further version.

Delete the existing field and add it again.

Bearing in mind you have to update your own queries, too, if you use the displayfield memory slots!

Query management is the central point of contact in the organization of queries. Queries are the basic building blocks for all other actions in the ACMP. In addition to the queries included in the delivery, you also have the option to create your own queries. By default, there are 5 different categories of queries in the query management that relate to the respective solutions. The queries of the base query category are supplied with the ACMP inventory and can be used without restrictions.

To execute a query, select it and then click on Execute or launch it directly with a double click. The result is shown in a table. If several values of the same type can be assigned to a client, subqueries can also be integrated as tables and can be displayed before the client with the + icon. For more complex queries, there are also other ways to sort the results. For more information, see section Analysis of queries. Note that when an unlicensed version is used, the functions are applied only to a maximum of 15 clients.

An icon in front of each dataset indicates how the client concerned was inventoried:

ClientTypeService

The client was inventoried with the ACMP Agent

ClientTypeOSC

The client was inventoried with the OneScanClient

ClientTypeAD

The client was inventoried with the Agentless Scanner

ClientTypeManualClient

The client was manually entered

OSLinux

The client was inventoried with the XML Importer (Linux)

OSMac

The client was inventoried with the XML Importer (Mac)

Now you also have the option of checkmarkinig several computers from the query result to a check mark to apply the functions of the system range on it. If you have installed ACMP Securitydetective and ACMP Desktop Automation, you can also use the functions from the Security Detective and Client Commands range. If you use an unlicensed version, the features are available on a maximum of 15 clients.
