The Web Interface

The web interface serves to control the most important Helpdesk activities via the browser. A distinction is made between the Helpdesk Web Interface and the self service web interface. The difference between the two web interfaces is that the Helpdesk web interface can only be used by our Helpdesk employees, while the self service web interface is available for all employees.

 

With the Helpdesk web interface it is possible, after login, to open all queries which are accessible via the administratioin of the Ticket Management (see chapter Administration). In addition, can be viewed, edited and recreated. It is also possible to view the Knowledge Base.

 

With the self service web interface, the user can view, after logging in, by default all his tickets, which he has already created. This list can be viewed via the base query (see Base query). New tickets can be created, and already existing ones can be viewed. It is also possible to view the Knowledge Base.
