Open the Server Manager and start the wizard for adding roles and features via the Manage menu. Then select the role-based or feature-based installation and select the desired target server.
Tick the item Web server (IIS) and make sure that you have marked both the IIS 6 compatibility in the sub-item Management tools and the ASP.NET in the sub-item Webserver in application development. If you are prompted to install other required role services, confirm it.
Afterwards, in a next step, you can tick and install the .NET Framework 3.5, if this has not yet been done. Finally confirm the settings and wait until the installation is completed.
