To install the IIS server in Windows Server 2003, open the Server administration dialog via start. Click on the link Add or Remove features. When you run the wizard for the first time, select the option Custom configuration. You can then use the server function application server (IIS, ASP.NET). On the next page of the wizard, select additionally the options FrontPage server extensions and Activate ASP.NET.

 

 

After IIS installation, launch the internet information services manager via Management. Navigate here to go to the web service extensions folder. Select the extensions ASP.NET v1.1.4322, ASP.NET v2.0.50727, as well as FrontPage server extensions 2002 and click the Allow button.
